Welcome to the IGTLA

Welcome to the Indiana Government Technology Leaders Association. Our objective is to unite local government information technology leaders in the State of Indiana for the purpose of exerting effectively a combined influence upon matters affecting information technology operations. Members of IGTLA benefit from collaborating among their peers, information and process sharing, and technical resources and support.

IGTLA 2018 Fall Meeting

Our 2018 Fall Meeting will be held at the Sheraton suite 15, 8787 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240 on November 27th.

Our new IGTLA President, Jeremy Stevens, has been working hard on the upcoming meeting being held at the Sheraton, on November 27th, in Indianapolis. It is coinciding with the Indiana Association of County Commissioners fall conference as they have graciously agreed to let us use one of their rooms for our event.

Click here to see 2018 Fall Meeting Agenda. Besides the normal board items, provided lunch, and a couple of vendor presentations, Verizon will be demoing the 5G network that is active in Indianapolis now. Indy is one of four cities to be part of the initial 5G deployment, including Houston, Sacramento, and Los Angeles. They will be showing the devices being used - with speedtest, brief overview of how their 5G operates, discussing their rollout plans for 5G, how they envision 5G use for local government, as well as how they plan to price the service.

We look forward to seeing everyone again and believe it will be a great fall meeting, also remember to bring a coat the 5G demo will be outside!

Please RSVP if you are planning on attending.

Meet the President

Chris Mertens Picture

Jeremy Stevens is the Director of Information Systems for Howard County, and currently serve as the President of the IGLTA. I was recently elected at our Spring Meeting, and hope to carry on the outstanding progress from our past president, Chris Mertens. Chris has grown the IGTLA from a handful of counties sharing knowledge, to a fifty-five county and municipality strong professional association. His hard work has always created a fun and informative, as well as relevant, Spring and Fall meeting. I will do my best to live up to the high standard he has set.
