Welcome to the Indiana Government Technology Leaders Association. Our objective is to unite local government information technology leaders in the State of Indiana for the purpose of exerting effectively a combined influence upon matters affecting information technology operations. Members of IGTLA benefit from collaborating among their peers, information and process sharing, and technical resources and support.
Our 2019 Spring Meeting will be held at MatchBOX Studio, 17 South 6th St, Lafayette, IN 47901, on May 21, 9am - 4pm and May 22, 9am - 12pm. .
The 2019 IGTLA Spring Meeting will be "member focused", consisting of a day of roundtable discussions of topics chosen by IGTLA members, and a second half-day featuring a walkthrough of Lafayette's newly deployed hyper-converged system, powered by Nutanix. Lunch will be provided by a vendor on day one. We have heard your feedback, and this meeting will be mostly vendor sales pitch free (one, from vendor providing lunch) with a goal of connecting with fellow government IT Director's and IGTLA members. Get to know your counterparts, pick their brains, discuss solutions, explore implemented policies, and whatever else that comes up.
The meeting place is MatchBOX studio, which is one block from day two's tour location of City Hall. A Holiday Inn Express is across the street for those needing accommodations.
We are very excited try this new format and look forward to seeing everyone there! We have made the date after primary elections to allow more members the chance to attend. If you have any questions about the Spring meeting, please don't hesitate to ask. Please send questions to email@example.com.
Jeremy Stevens is the Director of Information Systems for Howard County, and currently serve as the President of the IGLTA. I was recently elected at our Spring Meeting, and hope to carry on the outstanding progress from our past president, Chris Mertens. Chris has grown the IGTLA from a handful of counties sharing knowledge, to a fifty-five county and municipality strong professional association. His hard work has always created a fun and informative, as well as relevant, Spring and Fall meeting. I will do my best to live up to the high standard he has set.
