Welcome to the IGTLA

Welcome to the Indiana Government Technology Leaders Association. Our objective is to unite local government information technology leaders in the State of Indiana for the purpose of exerting effectively a combined influence upon matters affecting information technology operations. Members of IGTLA benefit from collaborating among their peers, information and process sharing, and technical resources and support.


IGTLA 2017 Spring Meeting

Our 2017 Spring Meeting will be held at the Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 N 3rd St, Lafayette, IN 47901 at 8:00am on Thursday, April 27 to 4:00pm Friday, April 28 2017.

Schedule has been set for the Spring Meeting. Agenda is below. If there is something specific you would like to cover, please let us know.

Outside of that there are a bunch of hotels at the SR26 and I65 intersection. Randy mentioned that some of them are filling up already so I would call soon and get it booked if you are planning/considering coming!

Meet the President

Chris Mertens Picture

Chris Mertens serves as Director of IT at Hamilton County, Indiana and is located in Noblesville, IN. Prior to joining Hamilton County, Indiana, Chris served as Director of Information Technology at State of Missouri. At present, Chris is a member of Hoosier Heritage Port Authority, Technology Oversight Board and Indiana Government Technology Leaders. Chris attended William Woods University and studied Business Administration and earned a Masters degree in 1999. Chris also attended Lincoln University and studied Business Administration and earned a Bachelors degree in 1993. Chris's core expertise includes IT Leadership, Budget development, vendor negotiations and project management. Chris enjoys Youth Sports, Chiefs, Royals and Pacers
